Press Release

Something new is coming

Who do you call when your pc just won't work, when it gets yet another bug? At last, a simple solution - t24.

t24 is a revolutionary new company coming to St. Albans on the 9th April: a company that by the end of 2006 will be providing nationwide emergency pc support to your desk for a fixed fee without the need for a support agreement. Within 24 hours of placing a call for support with the company you will have a Criminal Records Bureau-checked agent with you and your pc; either at home, or if you are a small business user, at your place of work.

To see the company for yourself, come down to the Market Square in St. Albans between 9am – 5pm on the 9th April. A launch 'party' will be held with balloons, promotional flyers and giveaways, together with the highly visible t24 company vehicles. Soon expected to be the most spotted car in the area!

Initially coverage will be available throughout London and the Home Counties with the St. Albans launch on the 9th. t24 was created by Head Agent, Steve Songaila, a founding Director of Twin Systems Plc. Twin Systems Plc has over fourteen years experience of resolving technology problems and has helped over 1 million computer users.

t24 gives the smaller business and the home user the level of support taken for granted by larger corporations.

Calls before 10am will be visited on the same day, after that, they will be seen within a 24 hour period of the call being made. t24 agents will provide a reliable, professional service against a fixed price menu. Services include fault rectification, virus removal and initial machine set up. A full list of services can be found on the t24 web site at www.t24.com. Over 90% of calls will be fixed within the hour according to the help desk statistics that have been generated by t24’s parent company, Twin Systems Plc. With t24, customers will receive an expert, guaranteed, local service with the backing of a major technology support PLC.

"It's the consumer's choice," explains Steve Songaila. He continues, "We don't tie people into warranty 'deals', they pay only for the service that they need. t24 was born from a very real need that pc users have. The only choices they had was to take out an expensive warranty at the point of purchase – which may or may not be needed and where warranty calls often take days for the first visit and usually involve returning the unit to a store for a given time period – or calling in a mostly unknown pc repair person. t24 offers a better way. Consumers will be using a reputable service from a large company. All of our agents are CRB-checked so if customers are letting people into their home, they can be confident of their background."

Agents can even be checked on-line from the t24 web site, so customers can be sure of whom they are expecting to see at the door. Each agent will be local in his or her own area and again, customers can be sure of the service provided. When a time is made for their call, they can be confident of seeing their agent at that time (they will not be allocated a time slot, they will be given an appointment time). Because the agents are local they will have no need to be late 'looking' for an address.

t24 is very much part of the community and wants to give something back from day one. "With this in mind," explains Steve, "we have teamed up with The Children’s Society and will donate £1 from every completed call to their funds. The Children’s Society logo will appear on our agents’ cars and in all of our literature. This way we aim to help them, not just through our financial support, but by raising public awareness for them. They have over 90 projects throughout England that are vital to helping and supporting children and young people. We have already pledged £1000 and you can see The Children's Society fund growing on our web site."

Bob Reitemeier, Chief Executive at The Children's Society, said, "We are delighted that t24 have chosen The Children's Society to be their charity partner. All donations will go towards our work with children who deal with life's harshest challenges, helping them develop their own self-belief, and to face the future with confidence."

Visit t24 in St. Albans' Market Square on the 9th April 2005 between 9am and 5pm, visit the website at www.t24.com or call 0808 180 2424 on or after the 9th. "Be a part of something big! The company is going to be huge and every pc user's first port of call by the end of 2006," Steve Songaila reminds us.
